PinkPantheress: Turning It Up

PinkPantheress' Chart Record: Billboard Explains

PinkPantheress is a singer, songwriter, and producer who I've always been drawn to, even though I don't usually listen to her style of music. I was first introduced to Pink's music with her song "Boy's a liar Pt. 2", a collab single with Ice Spice in late 2023. Her angelic, ethereal voice paired with her fast-paced, almost break-core like beats slowly began to fill up my playlist more and more.

After my first listen to Pink, I went to her discography and listened to her 2021 album to hell with it and Heaven knows, her only two albums. In my opinion, these albums were far too short for what I wanted in a PinkPantheress album, but were very good listens. Of the two, I think I liked to hell with it a little more. Standout tracks for both of these albums include "Pain", "Mosquito", "Reason", and "I Must Apologize".

PinkPantheress recently posted about getting her voice back after losing it for a significant portion of 2024 (she had canceled many live shows because of this). I am so excited for whatever Pink has in store for her fans. Her last single "Turn it up" stayed in heavy rotation this summer for me, and if she delivers an album in the next 4-5 months, I have no doubt that PinkPantheress will be running the summer for me yet again.
